Pump Up LIFE !

Excitement – What does this word mean to you? It refers to something that makes your adrenalin rush, something that you look forward to.

At times we say, ‘Oh! I am so bored. My life is so dull’ (Refer to http://johny-walker.blogspot.com/2008/08/dull-me.html )

Now, we often say that, but we really don’t ponder over how to overcome this apparent dullness. I look at myself now, and well, dullness is the last thing that can comes to my mind. A change that has come about, has it? How, I wonder. Lets dig deeper. A set of points to drive away dullness –

- Go and play a game of paintball. It’s fun.
- Book a room in a 5-star hotel. Switch off your phone. Don’t tell anyone. Spend the day there. Sleep as if it was the last time you were sleeping. Go to their SPA too :)
- Be a kid. Trouble everyone. Bunk being a responsible person blah blah
- Pamper yourself. Go shopping. You have a credit card.
- Don’t like going to office. Then don’t go. There’s always another job.
- Don’t like studying. Then don’t study. Who cares about career.
- Go on a drive. Burn some petrol, and pollute the environment. It’s alright.
- Take a holiday. Go to Bhutan for 3 days.
- Go bungee jumping, scuba diving, ski diving everything :)
- Force yourself to smile.
- Sit and squat at home.
- Give me a phone call.

At the end of the day, its all about following your heart.
Let me narrate an incident here. A kid doesn’t want to go to school. Her parent says ‘Ok’. She sits and has fun all the time. After two weeks, she finally gets bored. She tells her parents, ‘I wanna go to school.’

We all are like this. You don’t want to do something. You feel bored and dull. Go change things, re-focus, find passion and come back to doing what you do best.

A few other things:

- Change.
Change everything around you. What you do, where you are, everything. Breather fresh and different life into yourself.
- Re-focus
Ask yourself why you are doing what you are doing. Don’t have a reason. Bunk it. Find your reason and then come back to doing it.
- Find PASSION
Passion, my friend redefines life. If you have passion for something, you will put your heart and soul in it. Don’t force yourself to do something, its stupidity.
